On sept 9th, Mr Cedric Foo, head of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Transport, published his views of the transport situation in SG. for once(ok, maybe a little exaggerating), i tink someone from the garment understands the pple’s problem. His article really highlights a load of things.

wow. i tink he is the only garment official to realize this. Pple living along the NEL pays most of their transport money to SBS transit. down here, it’s not a duopoly, its a monopoly. but wat did the garment do? nth.

so even a garment official says my transport companies are making money. keyword. MAKING. not losing. so why r fees increasing?

din wanted to highlight everything. cos i thot everything was important. cos i am so affected by this la. can SBStransit tell me how i can go sim lim square easily now without bus n with NEL? last time used to have direct bus. now have i din even noe how to go there anymore. there’s no train station called sim lim square. indeed, SBStransit shld compensate me on my delay.

 dun noe wat to highlight again, i really agree anymore with Mr Foo. in a fast pace growing country, there is always smth that is slow.

i think SG has lost its transport competition decades ago. n the constant lame reason? sg is too small. its not beneficial to have so many companies operating inside. its better to let 2 companies run our transport systems n let them earn millions, n high stakeholders in the company(very earlier investors, shant say names if i get sued) can enjoy the profits. yippee.

n it was this article that sparked off why i traced back Mr Foo’s article. wth. SBS earning money n still wanna increase fare. doesnt bloody hell mean our economy is getting better means we shld pay more for transport. my widening income gap will just widen wider than the gap between mercury n pluto(which is not a planet anymore). SBS n SMRT r considered Public Transport Operators, NOT Profiting Transport Operators. PUBLIC. u know wat PUBLIC means? is to SERVE the bloody PUBLIC. not suck their money. n stop complainin abt higher cost. everything also higher cost. salaries dun increase because of higher cost. n ridership in SG is just goin to increase, not decrease. i tink fares have no justification to increase. n if the Public Transport Council wanted to explain this lame fare increase, which they actually need not cos the fares are goin to increase anyway n there’s nth commuters can do anything abt, they shld have done it with figures n proper article, not in a forum(actually maybe they did, but i just missed the article). Come to tink of it, there’s really no justification required for most things in sg since most things r just goin to be stuffed down my narrow throat anyway. bite me.

dave havent told himself wat happened during the past few days. or week. so this is for myself as usual. cant remember sia..let me try..last last wed, finally went bike shop to settle smth. then went sch helped jf n her friend. last last thurs, went sch at 2-6pm. home after that. last last fri, parents went m’sia(means have to settle dinners). supposed to eat dinner with someone. tink got cancelled. ate dinner with FOW OG. seems like a weekly friday event. =) talk nonsense at SRC carpark. went forum to do some cs4264 reading a bit after that. down to corp for supper. had aaron recommended hokkien mee. not bad. last last sat, awoken by fw to go bodynits sale. sent fw down to suntec n the sale got nth. yee. fw also bought nth. fw was like so enthu abt the sale la!! aiyo! then sent fw home cos fw was supposed to wakeboard at 3pm. i was like a chauffer for a day. just wake up to send fw ard! met with corp pple at nite at esplanade. had KFC! finally, after such a long craving! hung out with son, clari, dora after that. last last sunday, went corp(wa. my time spent with corp pple is increasing). zao bo. really zao bo. discovered some fish photo game in phone. nice. thanks to zhen. fj n i liked the game. had long johns while healthy pple had subway for dinner. went home at 10+. so early! monday, after sch, did my readings again. yee.. i dun like readings. was getting sleepy.. ran/jog in the evening. my 2.4km time is seriously like a snail. sigh. jialat la. have 2 weeks to try to get my $100! wish me luck! had dinner with clari, else i would have to eat dinner alone! so sad! tues, settled bike thing. not a very good deal imo, but at least it was the easiest way. went home to take a nap. was tired. then parents came home in the evening! however, too lazy to go out buy dinner. so had noodles with egg, and some food that they bought back. went out at nite to meet sy. all the way till 6+? had mac breakfast n saw children goin to sch while goin home. oh my. ha. i dun do this type of thing even once in a yr. but was fun. i must say i enjoy my times with sy. but sy’s flying off to london to do masters. so smart. ha. wed, stayed home. did nth. tried to drain bike coolant but to no avail. sigh. thurs, after lect accompanied 3235 teammate to dinner(i am so nice) and started my 4264 assignment(due e next day). had some advises on how to do my 3235 tutorial(due e next day too). went home for dinner at 9+pm. finished assignment at nite. uploaded it in a daze. fri, did tutorial while in lect. finished on time. 4+pm liao, but dave din wanna have lunch alone. was chatting with ps n xiao nuo when low n behold, jf came in thru com1’s front door. jf had dancing at 6 and had nth to do. so off jf n dave went to have lunch or lunner(lunch+dinner). ordered viet beef soup noodle n jf was so impressed with it, that jf went to have one too. to tink jf already ate lunch. the hungry monster. stayed in sch to study after that while waiting to go corp for supper. surprisingly, acct lecture notes were so much easier to read than the bloody textbook. sigh. had chicken cutlet rice(which i have been wanting to try). was quite nice. could be a little cheaper though. sat, was lookin to tan. but that fw REJECTED my proposal. sigh! but from bad things, came good things. i nv knew in my life my BB tanned! i found a tanning buddy! now i know who to ask liao. zao bo at the pool that afternoon. saw sheena’s bro(i used his name to sign into the clubhouse. ha). went over son’s place at nite for dinner n celebrate adriel’s birthday. 19yr old. had 10candles on the cake. oh, n he has a strong neck. very strong. as usual, the food was good. n the steak. all i can say is ‘WA’. really nice! went some hong kong cafe at late nite. not very special.

wow. havent blogged for a week. let’s recap wat i did starting from 3rd sept. mon, went sch. jogged in evening with nic. first time i jogged at sch’s track. ha. tues. fell ill. drink my vomit. wed. rested at home. went sch in evening to help someone. received a box of biscuit sticks as reward. thurs, supposed to meet biru, aaron for lunch cause they visiting sch. but felt a little giddy, so rested at home. went sch eventually for lecture. 2-6pm. survived with panadol, my good friend for the past 2 days. fri. sch from 10-3. lunch at science alone. came back com1 for meeting at 345pm. hang out with fow og for dinner. hang out with yunfai’s 3214 grp. stayed back to study a bit. headed down to corp for supper. sat. sentosa with mark, zz, john, jie, jing yi, steven, sean, sheena. made kids frightened. din play much. maybe next time. evening with corp pple. watched ‘no reservation’. thot was quite entertaining. found out wat a soup chef(if that’s how u spell) was. hang out at far coast. maybe i’ll post a pic. sunday. had lunch at home. went to corp in afternoon. hung out. read my cs4264 case study. went home cos had family dinner. aunties n uncles came over. cousins came over. talked quite a bit to a cousin i nv really talked to for the past 22yrs. was nice. mon. went sch earlier for consultation. was as quiet as a cookie. supposed to jog again, but nic nv bring gear. idiot. zao bo in sch cos din felt like studyin. =( met jf. chit chated. went home. alain n ryan came over my place. impromtu. chit chated again. tues. went police station to make report cos they say army nv give them my statement abt an accident that happened 3yrs ago. met youjie while at the station. watch him eat lunch. came home for lunch then rushed off to sch in record time. met cousin at nite. chit chat. gave her a ride home.

reason being why i am loggin my activities maybe cos i want to record wat happened n know that my life is not just abt MSN? sigh. i tink i am a MSN addict. yee. yucks. n i dun have other activities. maybe i shld really hunt for a CCA. maybe riding is wat i like. maybe chit chating and hanging out is wat i like. but sigh, all the things i like are not exactly financially viable. is there any job that pays well for a person who just socialize with friends n slack n have flexible time?
