thurs(8 nov)- thurs(22 nov). basically just working, working and working. almost can say that i have nv worked so hard for my life. those of you in SoC were still able to see me. but to my non-sch friends, the last day i was spotted was at least 2 weeks ago. the last non-sch friend i met was BB. yupz. tink i saw YR in sch. so she’s pretty lucky too. ha. anyway, in the past 14 days, i have finished cs3235, cs4264, fna1002x and cs3266 proj (in respective due dates). yup. usually i blog in days, this time i shall blog by modules.

the first 2 projects were ok.

cs3235. computer security. due 9 nov. just had to make an information website, so not so bad, search internet for info then summarize then put into html.

cs4264. Business to consumer commerce. due 9 nov. lagi(even) better. got some master guy in the group. so we like split the parts and do rite, end up most of the things he change. and i dun blame him at all. i tink he is gifted in research and report writing. so i am even happy he re-did the whole thing!! hope the proj get good marks. i really need it. cos my individual assignments, and case study were like crap. the most important thing that i have learnt from this module, is i am so not talented or even good at writing quality report. i have only a slight interest to learn on how to improve my writing, which is bad, cos i foresee that all my level 4 modules will either be tonnes of programming OR tonnes of writing, both i am not good at. dun noe why i stay honours year. 2nd lower, here i come.

fna1002x. financial accounting. due 15 nov had to analyze financial report and conclude with whether the company is worth investing. quite a nightmare module at the start, but towards the end, it seemed to be more do-able. i dun tink the report we submitted will get good marks, but i tink we have answered the qns pretty well. so all i have to worry now is the exams, which i will surely lose out to those with accounting background.

cs3266. the proj that i only started on 4 nov. due 21nov. 17 days to do. and in between i still have 3 other mods to tackle. so i only officially fiercely started on the 13 nov. so thats about 8 days. had to do some shopping cart application. sounds easy rite? let me tell u it is NOT! i thot it wasnt that bad, that’s why i started so late. but seriously, whoever is doin this mod, please start early, dun rush like me. and my parents went malaysia from 14 nov. so while i was rushing, there was no Mum preparing food, no Dad watering plants. so the sons had to take over. fortunately, my wish of rain came thru. so no need to water plants. but food wise, let’s just say i skipped a few meals. everyday i counted down to the proj due date. the last 6 days were the most power. i stayed at home the whole day just programming! i wake up, on computer, program, take short breaks, program. no tv, no prison break, heros, gossip girl, desperate housewives. i nv worked so hard b4 la. anyway, i am happy with the result i have achieved, not say its good, but i am impressed i could push myself so hard. of cos some genius can finish the same work in 3 days, but those are the genius. and i would like to thank my grp mate’s bf mr lim who chipped in. without him, i sure cannot hand up on time.

yes. please look into the root of the problem. i am guessing cab drivers just dont earn enuff. one way to stop touting. reduce taxi rental fees. its high time big corporations like comfort delgro do smth for the better good instead of just sucking our bloody money. is it really so hard for them just to earn less? everything also blame us commoners for being greedy while big corporations just earn tonnes of money. when they dont make profit(does not mean making loss), they raise transport fee prices. commoners at the bottom of the pyramid always suffer. screw u.

some suggestions are really dumb. like i said, my suggestion is to reduce taxi rental fee. maybe comfort will view my suggestion as dumb.

may he fall, break his limps and slowly die. oh, before that, i hope someone makes one of his eyes blind too. i dun care if he is mentally ill. call me compassionless, but we dun need such scams on earth. perhaps his greatest contributions is to be lion food. at least the zoo can save some money on meat.

wed. halloween. nope. did not celebrate. spend the day at home! read some cs3235 lecture that i missed last week. slacked my day away i tink. wanted to chiong that nite. but no one was ard. then mtv was like playin all the 80s song. reminds me of zouk.

thurs. wanted to go sch earlier to try database thing. but was a bit late. only managed to print some notes. for those who din read the earlier post, SoC gave me my print quota back. stupid printer spoil. imagine i din say anything, i would have owned SoC 411 paper. wa lau. anyway, went to make replacement matric card. its free, but only arriving on the 12th. so i have been borrowin winnie’s card to get into labs. oh my. thanks winnie. went lect. lect ended, went dinner with liz. talk, hung out, peanut butter craving. yupz. been a while since i was out with her. home. collated cs4264 survey results. thanks to the people who did the survey.

friday. got to sch early. yes! haha. anyway, usually i have lessons from 10-3, plus that day got consultation at 3-4. meaning 10-4. no break. but lucky 1st lect ended at 1115. so had early lunch! bought some chao fan, hash brown, egg and fried fish fillet. $2.70. wa lau. expensive in sch context. meeting ended, went soc1 lab. tried the database thing that i was supposed to try yest. it worked! yippie. went back com1 to see if anyone was there. nope. everyone went home to study. met sl for studyin till abt 10 or 11.

sat. decided that this day was my last play day. goin to be a nerd from this day onwards till dec 6. had lunch at home. met BB to tan. had lunch. met weird pple at kopitam. some weird man ask us abt cataracts. i thot he was a begger. but he shld ask his cataracts problem to a doctor. not us. send her home. then went down sch to pick SL. din noe where to go. so being spontatenous pple, we went sentosa! dinner at coasties wasnt that special and i forgot to use my card for discount (yes, i am cheapskate). i tink sentosa lack nice food. watched ‘Songs of the Sea’, for the older folks its a musical fountain equivalent with the addition of fireworks. walked ard the island a bit. headed towards dempsey for B&J (bens and jerry). went up mount faber to check out the scenary there on the way. damn crowded there la. dun noe why. anyway, she nv go dempsey b4 la. aiyo. kids. ha. anyway, i always thot the ambience at B&J dempsey was quite nice. she liked it too. according to her nick ‘dempsey is the place to be’

sun. nerd day 1. finally started my cs3266 e-comm website. finished the first page. but dun have any functionality yet. die. sigh. a bit scare cannot finish on time (winnie, if u r reading this, dun panic. we have survived 3214, we will survive this). did a little of my acct proj. yup. wat a nerd day.

mon. lect. lunch at arts. continued with acct proj. had acct meeting in evening. home. tried doin acct tut. cant do. dun understand. exam die liaoz. sigh.

tues. only had 1 tut. lunch. studied at biz lib. finished my cs4264 proj part. finished acct online assignment. tried out some mind twisting java programs. home. out. had supper. rained throughout the nite. idiot. couldnt go home.

wed. did cs3235 proj. watched tonnes of show. sigh. someone please stop me. finished cs4264 presentation slides. blogging.

i dun noe am i responsible or weird. but sometimes i feel guilty for even having fun. cos more time for fun = less time for work. sigh. off to pictures!
