just came back from sentosa. my face is red once more. UV is really powerful even though the sun wasnt that great today. i shld invest in facial sun block. had chicken rice before parting with the sentosa gang. wanted to avoid the bloody ERP on CTE, so i took the long way by going thru queensway. felt like goin to ikea halfway and there i was. bought a bowl. nice bowl. $4.90. a not so nice one would have costed $2-$3. the thot of just spending $2 more seems like a small amt so i bought the more ex one. was the last piece anyway. why i buy bowl? to contain some stuff.

mon, went motorshop change engine oil. home. tues, sch. sold books, bought books. met cute girl. home. wed, sentosa with liz. sch in evening. thurs, sch. cs4255 meeting at nite. fri, consultation. cs4265 lect cancelled last min. did $10 survey. met slin. forum is one place i am goin to miss when i grad. sat, kena ps by someone. but i shall forgive her. women are not reliable. to tink i booked her since mon. went sentosa to meet army buddies.ikea.home.blogged.

lect: if u nv take any of this 3 modules previously, i recommend u drop this mod.
lect: this is a very busy module. if u have little time, i recommend u drop
lect: u will have to find your own client, find out their problems, apply a model, propose solutions and recommendations to the problem. (in other words, lect just sit back and relax and hardly do anything.)

and drop his bloody module i did. i tink as a lecturer, u shld be careful with your words as u have no idea wat damage they can do. anyway, to get another module to replace this module, i had to appeal, which failed. then i had to email lecturer of that module, email sch admin then i finally got smth else. so traumatic. this sem i appealed a total of 4 modules. and i received unseen appeal remarks like "your p a/c is bankrupt for this appeal" and "class is full". wow.

1. i am but a simple person. i dun have great dreams nor inspire to be rich.
2. i am shy or quiet by nature. it is misunderstood that i am anti-social. a check with my closer friends SHLD prove otherwise.
3. i get lonelier easier as my age goes up.
4. i am not smart or special.
5. i tink i have lost meaning to live.

Things to do abt the above points:
1. be a farmer. maybe the city is not such a great place for me. why did i bother with studyin honours. i am perhaps one of the most easily understood person. i dun need fancy resturants nor fancy cars. i rather a simple get together at a home while watchin some rented movies. call me old fashion.
2. buck up on my social skills. will be helpful to meet pple or speak better in interviews.

sounds desperate or crazy. maybe when u reach mid 20s, u will understand. maybe not. maybe that’s why pple my age get attached. maybe that’s why older folks get married.
4. it’s true. most of us are not anyway. not everyone is a scholar. not everyone was cut out for studyin in the first place. but society seems to say that we fail in life when we cant study or ain’t as smart as our neighbour. however, i dun care abt society. i’m still lookin for my talent. i guess the only talent i have is assemblin computers or maybe tech support, a so-called lower skilled job, but hey, i thot i just said i dun care abt society? things i wish to improve on this year, fitness, guitar skills, riding and social skills.
5. yup. have u ever woke up and wonder why u live? maybe my end days are comin which makes me reminded of this qns more often. or maybe i just have nth better to do. some book once said, when u learn to die, u learn to live. so many of us, me included, tink that there will always be tmr. we seem to know for certain we’ll live tmr though we all know that’s not true. there’s always a small probability we wun. maybe i shld just be a social worker and help out in charity work, at least i could bring some joy in other pple’s life.

for those that read till here, this post wasnt supposed to be a happy nor sad post. it’s just a reflection of wat goes thru my little head sometimes.

random point 1: did u know a bloody ezlink card has a $5 non-refundable deposit? for student cards, there’s an additional $3 non-refundable fee to put your face on it? that’s why till now i have not made my NUS ex-link card. to save $8.

woke up. packed. ate breakfast. packed again. made sure nth lost. took pictures ard the place. bags got picked up by resort staff. took last buggy ride to visitor arrival hall. had lunch. took bus to ferry terminal. had a 30min shopping at factory outlet. departed from indonesia. back to sg. purchased alcohol. shared a maxi-cab back.

anyway. cab from the ferry terminal was $35 fixed. could ferry 5 of us. if takin usual cab, a $5 surcharge is included as ferry terminal treated like changi airport. point is, its cheaper takin the maxicab.

the ferry to bring us home. its the same ferry that brought us there. was supposed to be another ferry though. tink the planned ferry had some problems. but this provided a hidden blessing.

while my ’selfish’ friends went to find seats for themselves,

wee wee and i were escorted by the captain to our vip seats. ha! look at my friends being squeezed together. they had the economy seats. we went for the business class. hahaha. anyway, the story was that because they changed the ferry, the newly scheduled ferry could not accomodate all the passengers. it was probably smaller than the planned ferry. as wee wee n i wanted to sit together after being abandoned by our 4 friends, we just kept walkin ard the ferry lookin for 2 seats that werent seperated. we walked ard the whole ferry for at least 5mins? ya. by the time 5mins was over, even those single vacant seats between people were occupied. then the captain came to take us to the vip area! so much more spacious! no squeezin with the commoners! ha! dave does have some overseas travellin luck. the first time i took plane, i was upgraded to business class. the first time i took ferry, saf n sentosa not counted, i was upgraded to business class again! yippie!

anyway, end of day 4! ha. those who r actually readin, u survived!!! congrats!!

day 3 was just spent slackin by the pool. pasar oleh oleh at nite for dinner. i bought wax at 13500rupiah, abt $2 dollars sing. same as the one u get in sg.. got back, went to cafe at resort. slacked.

i kinda liked this type of ‘focus near blur far’ shot. yupz. this ribena was served by nic while elvin and i were tanning at the pool. she also served bread with egg and nutella. she definately scored some pts that day.

pasar oleh oleh was located near to the ferry terminal and most of the resorts. a tourist place i guess..
