the semester is almost over. the phrase ‘blink of an eye’ could not have been used better. 3mths. 3 mths just passed. sigh.

there’s probably no other foosball table that has suffered as much as the one in SoC student lounge. ALL of them have some form of ‘war injury’ on them as seen by the black tape, brown tape, scrotch tape. indeed, they have been thru a lot.

artisit at work again.

went out last sat to celebrate roo’s birthday. simple dinner at shoduko at city hall. food is ok la. but what i am disappointed is the 10% service charge. for a place that doesnt serve u water and doesnt come take orders from u (the place is like a japanese version of marche, where there’s a bunch of stores inside, then u take order, record it onto a card, then pay at the exit. oh, and u have to collect the food yourself, they dont serve it to your table). come to tink of it, even some hawkers serve the food to my table. 10% seems little when the meal is $10. but our meal was more than $100. plus 7%gst. can u imagine paying extra $17? then we visited dempsey, then went to marina barrage b4 going home. that place is rather nice. interesting. but only accessible if u have a car i guess. takes too much effort to go without.

watched bond with nus gang yest. he is like a game character. can activate cheat code and nv die. seriously. nth can kill that man. bullets. knives. fire. NOTHING! can he can jump from one storey to the another without injuring his leg! and i always wonder how can agents run fast when they are wearing leather shoes. i dont have runners wearing that. interestingly, it’s still a PG show. after a bunch of unbelievable stunts that kids might imitate. not to mention the amount of pple killed by him. there was even one scene where he killed a man and slowly let him die. and still, a PG show?

caught the show at vivo. it’s currently on my ‘temporary-boycott’ list. my bike parking fee was $5 for 5hrs. for goodness sake. HDB rate is $0.65 for 12hrs. i am ok with paying more than $0.65, but $5? some carparks for CARS are even cheaper than that. surely, i am not going vivo for a time being. and the other reason is, ….

the picture is a bit small. but here is the main thing to look out for:
– Valid from Mondays to Fridays, for sessions before 5pm at GV Bishan, GV Jurong, GV Tiong Bahru, GV Yishun, GV Tampines & GV Plaza.
– Promotion is valid till 14 November2008
notice there is no GV Vivo. and its till FIVE pm only. other cinemas are till SIX! pieces of shit. and the promo is valid till tmr! we’ll see if they extend again. but anyway, GV is on my ‘temporary-boycott’ list too. so now i have 2 reasons NOT to visit VIVO. i know they dont care, but they just lost one customer.

so i checked out cathay and engwah. student rate of $6 at ANY outlet. and no mention of promo ending date. and their promo just seems more friendly. anyway, i shall quote a stupid swensons advert phrase in a modified way. ‘I am so not going to GV’.

so in summary, i have here’s my list.

‘permanent-boycott’ list
– brikenstock. reason being super BAD customer service.
- open space carpark opposite cineleisure. super a lot of birdshit.

reading week is coming. and i have tonnes of readings to do. sighness. and i feel like playin la! oh well.

i can’t figure out how come i have been so busy. seriously. i thot the busyness thing was for only a week. WRONG! this week also busy. and i project that next week will be busy till midweek. its all gonna be over soon, which ironically, is sad for me.
