Imagine this was a picture during oral examination. "This is a scene of an autograph session of famous celebrities Rainie Yang and 2 other funny pple. It is probably at causeway point on a friday evening. On the background, you can see 3 people posing to have the picture taken. And may i comment, the girl in the certain looks adorably cute! oh, back to the oral examination, there are probably the stars of the show. On the foreground, it can be said advancement of technology has reached the hands on the audience. Look at the number of little screens! everyone has a digital camera of sorts!" ya, after all that nonsense, all i wanted to say was see the number of little screens!

Due to the power of marketing, some consumers MAY be misled. but truth is, at least for now, quad core may not be that useful or required as thought of. From HWZ, "In short, the software development has not kept pace with the hardware, a common refrain that’s valid whether it’s coming from a user doing video encoding or a hardcore gamer that finds his latest quad-core system slower than his higher clocked but dual-core system. Be it for work or play, software applications are still far from utilizing the quad-core systems that CPU vendors are keen to push nowadays. However, it won’t be fair to blame the software developers for the gradual progress."

Isn’t it sickening to hear this when u cut hair during or near chinese new year, "now chinese new year, need to pay chinese new year rate". i mean, cny cut got special and nice is it?

quite ex hor. and machiam club ladies nite. girls no need pay.

quite funny when he say catch me if u can, then kena caught. but at least he escaped. but nv again he can roam this country carefree.

not bad, my hero still got sponsors. still as popular as ever. welcome to the good old days.

200 screaming fans! i am sure none of them mind going into bed and being snapped in compromising shots by the reowned photographer. damn, i am so envious.

anything to get u into bed. wait. he even managed to get u to post for seductive pics. seriously, edison shld hold a "how to sweet talk your way for anything" seminar. and write a book. true life success story.

nope. not exactly unexpected. tink a similar case happened in HK (a country very much similar to here in more than one thousand ways). so maybe the analysts shld have studied better. bigger company got bigger pockets to offer promotion to win customers. somemore singaporeans value money so much, naturally will go for the perceived cheaper alternative.

imho, M1 has been hit hardest cos they are small and unwilling to change their price plan. all mobile price plan in singapore are of similar prices. at least for me, the relevant ones are Starhub’s Powervalue100, Singtel iOne Plus and M1’s Sunsaver. all 3 plans are almost identical. price same. talktime same. starhub and singtel gives students unlimited sms. m1 only give 1000 and unlimited calls to 3 m1 numbers, which only works well if i have even 3 m1 close friends i will chat non-stop to. i mean there’s hardly any preceivable difference in these 3 plans. why shld i jump to m1? if m1 is really interested, perhaps they shld break away from charging the same price as the other 2. or is this really the most rock bottom price it can go?

did any of us feel that way? but then again, i rather have number portability.

well said, but i am sure Mr Herbert Lim already knows and doesn’t give a shit. And i am sure Mr Lim will come up with some seemingly grey but righteous response to this.

in the defense of the landlord, there is no good time to raise rents. if u raise during boom times, pple say u takin advantage of them. if u raise now, u r considered heartless. anw, that’s wat the system here of free market is about right? can afford, stay. cannot afford siam. business dont talk heart. business talk money.

aiyo. very traditional man. the show is funny and witty la. not just about sex. perhaps Mr ang should have staged a protest when sex in the city movie was airing. anw, these shows make me think that it’s normal americans go for one date, have sex and forget each other’s name the next morning. maybe if they mapped out everyone’s "had sex with" list, the 6 degree (or is it 7 degree) of friendship thing can be broken with to just 3 degree.

this article abt a worried mum with a stressed out and depressed kid with A levels coming. so much for counsellors.

sadly, all of us just gotta suck it up. i’m not being unsympathetic. but i tink our society has evolved to this state. sadly. and mrs ong shld have stated wat sch her son was in. then everyone will know how shitty it is. the only way they will learn though is if the kid continues studyin and commit suicide. only under extremeness will pple learn that things are wrong.

agreed. but i tink the opposition are quite powerless too given that the main party dominates EVERYTHING. so what if the opposition comes out with reforms? will they be considered? and taking into account opposition parties are smaller (meaning less talents and experience), will their plan be more "powerful"?

agreed.

i always hear how F1 is helpful for the country. but how come i pay road tax, i dont get to use the road at the race track during race days? then no refund, no special ticket prices, no profit sharing? and i have to suffer all the fake enthusiam in motor racing when no one gave a shit and frown abt motor racing.
