no doubt this vid is of national concern/debate (as some might say), i couldn’t even watch finish the vid as it was too boring/not professional (no offence to ms low).

Comments:
1) content was bad (i love running down orchard road with a bigini)
2) fluency was bad (boomz, rad, u know the rest)
3) very ill-prepared (she always look up in the sky whenever she needs to tink)
4) definitely not trained in public speaking
5) i really hate to say it, but kind of airhead (judging from this vid ALONE, not sayin her as a real person)
6) n i tink it’s contradicting to say ‘i love safari’ and ‘i love to wear preens’, unless u tell me u love animals so much u wanna dress like them.

Was down at SPCA a couple of days ago, and it was quite sad to see all the pets there (probably just a fraction of all the pets brought in). Good thing is if you see the dogs in the cages, means they will be stayin there for life even if they were not adopted (means they probably passed some stringent health check). Also, the dogs there were generally quiet and not as noisy as one might think. However, i do see more big sized dogs than smaller ones (meaning not HDB approved). Why do pple buy pets then dump them away?

remb the last time i talk bad abt DBS, here i am at it again. Once again, they deducted annual fee for my debit card without first asking me if I was even interested to continue with the subscription. DBS, why r u so cock? r u so desperate for $10.70 that you cant even call to ask me first?
Lesson learnt: Either dont bank with DBS/POSB although they are the poor people’s bank OR please ensure your cards have not lost their annual waiver by calling them and not trusting the year stated on the card (mine says 2010).
Additional input: I can’t even find a mission and vision statement of DBS or POSB on their website.
[Edit] I just called in and told them about it. The guy said if i cancelled the card, he will credit back the annual fee to me. of cos i cancelled it. at least i got my money back. but still, I think they shld have the courtesy to call to confirm before assuming. Also, why is it the last time I called abt my orange card, the phone operator didn’t provide the same option?

I have also decided not to let starhub earn my miserable pennies. My contract with them ended more than a year ago n till now, they have not called me to give me promo to continue with them. Service Promise? I think they have a bullshit culture. all bluff me de. Singtel and M1 are both offering $100 deduction for handsets if I jump over to them. the choice is clear.

some a$$hole abandoned his/her dog outside my place. simply just tied it to the railing and din even leave any water. and the dog was having some skin disease or smth and i could see it constantly shaking it’s head to ward off the irritating flies that wants to land on its head. the place wasn’t exactly hot but it definitely wasn’t shaded. i dont understand why would pple get a dog without the full intention to take good care of it. it’s a responsibility. if it has skin problem, the solution is simple, go to the vet, not abandon it. anw, my dad called the spca to take the dog. i got a feelin they just gave it the jab of peace. to the owner of the dog, may u either have no children to take care of u when u r old OR may your children tie u to a railing and abandon u one day too.

was at secret recipe for dinner. there was this cheater promo where u pay $5 extra for 2 side dishes. so we chose the cesaer salad and peach tea. look at the bowl in the centre, it’s smaller than my fist. and the tea? it doesnt taste like peach at all. oh, and plain water is chargable at $0.50 per bottle (abt 330ml). why the hell am i paying for water when i already have to pay for 10% service charge? all the service i am getting is someone takin my order, sending my food to me and someone that can get my bill (can they dont charge the 10% n i do it for them). Secret recipe is almost there in my boycott list (along with vivo and gv).

there are 2 ways to see this. one, this monk is a mad monk. he indulges in all the wordly pleasures and makes me wan to be a monk too. The other, shldnt he be rewarded for the management of such a big charity? it’s ok if a CEO of a similar size company gets all these, but not a monk who manages a same size company? is it all in the mindset? or is it because he’s a monk and by default, he’s supposed to be less indulged?

shant say which university (nus), shant say where (central forum) and shant say which faculty (fass). n i tink that wasnt the only trolley there. wonder were they sponsered the trollies.

on a seperate note, while i do know the merits of float making (pride, bondage, belonging), i tink float building is actually very not smart. they claim they use recycable materials, but how can the materials they use be recycled after a layer of paint has been coated over it? more waste created? they spent thousands of dollars budget to build a float, cant the money be donated to charity for better use? they take up place. they take up time (got so much time, why not help out in the community?). yet, the truth is so obvious but most will just see the other way.
